This is the story of the first kill I ever made in EVE
Online. It took me 8 years, (although the actual time I have been subscribed in
that period is far, far less. Possibly no more than 2). First, perhaps some
background is in order. It all started when I undocked from my home station, a
busy Navy shipyard in Litiura, a relatively safe system on the fringes of
Caldari space.
